Working permit
  • Opportunity for Russian employees to invite foreign workforce in RF
  • Annual quota for foreign workforce. The number is not defined clearly, it will be formed depending on the local employers' requests
  • A foreign citizen needs a work permit, which should be obtained by his employer at the RF immigration officials.  
How to apply for permission for foreign workforce attraction
 
  • Apply to municipal department of the Federal State Service of employment and receive the Resolution on possibility to invite foreign workforce
  • Employer should reserve on the employee’s account a special sum of money, necessary for foreign labor departure
  • Sending to the territory/ municipal department of Federal Migration Services the standard list of documents. Receiving the “Permission to employ foreign citizens”. This can take up to three months. This document is not required for the companies that hire foreign labor force from CIS countries.
  • Informing the Tax Services about the employment of foreign labor force in 10 days after foreign employee received an invitation of working visa. Also the labor contract should be send.

  • Registration (72 hours)
  • Permission for temporary staying in the RF
  • Residence permit  
If Work Permit is not obtained
 
   Employee deported from Russia
   Administrative charges for Employer (e.g. inability to employ foreign citizens for a period of time)
