In Moscow the National tourism award ceremony was held and the Leningrad Region got its well-deserved award. The Information-tourism center of the Leningrad Region competed with 12 regions of the Russian Federation in nomination “Active promotion of the tourist resources of the Russian regions”.  The Leningrad Region war awarded with the Senkevich National tourism prize.

In addition to this the “Prijut Belosnejki” in the Volosovckiy district was presented a diploma for creative approach in the development of tourism for children and youth.

The ceremony of the National tourism award gathers every year best representatives in the sphere of tourism. In the year 2011 164 representatives from 44 regions of the Russian Federation applied for the award.
