Planned annual capacity of terminal is up to 1,5 Mio tons of LPG cargoes and up to 2,5 Mio tons of light oil cargoes. Port terminal will provide opportunity for entering and loading of deep draft vessels with large displacement. Cargoes will be cooled during storage and loading. The terminal has no analogues in Russia and in CIS countries.
Building of complex is a federal project, an example of partnership between state and business. Planned term of putting into operation is the last quarter of 2012.
The following works will be done under this project: building of shore transshipment terminal for LPG and light oil cargoes, building of levee and other hydraulic structures, construction of new railway connecting the terminal with existing railway station.
General Director of Design and Construction Company “Transstroy” Ivan Kuznetsov told that it will be very serious and important infrastructure project. He also claimed that during its realization “Transstroy” will use all its engineering experience and technical potential.
