| Association of exporters and importers in cooperation with Guild of professional participants in external economic activities held a seminar “Russia – China 2010. Practice of doing business with China | |
 Seminar attracted representatives from various fields of local business. Exporters, importers, logistic companies, Customs Brokers found it useful to take part in the arrangement. Representatives from two banks that are most experienced in working with China covered financial aspects of export/import operations. General Director of “Balt-Test” Ltd. described future influence of implementing of Customs Union’s (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) regulations to the problem of goods certification. Together with Senior Vice-president of LRCCI Ms. Irina Panchenko he commented on making certificates for Chinese goods consigned to Russia and vice versa. Customs details of import from China were covered by representative from Customs Broker. Ms. Elena Ruleva, executive Director of NGO “Business Russia”, told about communicative sides of collaboration with Chinese partners. She gave recommendations for choosing a supplier in China, told about some principles and manners of people from this country. Coming of Chinese Council’s for external trade development delegation from Xiamen and their small presentation became a culmination of the seminar. Both Russian and Chinese businessmen obtained an opportunity to check theory in real mutual communication.
More than 45 companies took part in the seminar that proves interest shown by local business to China.
