In 2006 LRCCI established its representation office in Shanghai, China.
Office Functions are:
- monitoring of Chinese market in the field of goods production, services and investment;
- monitoring of legislation in the field of external economic activity and business activity in China;
- informational support of business-society in China on matters of cooperation with Russia by organization of seminars, conferences, advertising, using informational sources of the Chamber, work with mass media;
- dissemination of information about economy of Leningrad Region, St. Petersburg and regulations on external economic activity in Russia;
- marketing research on Chamber members inquiries;
- support of Chamber members in establishing contacts between Russian and Chinese companies, organization seminars and other events with Chinese business-society;
- assistance to Russian companies in organization of expositions on exhibitions and fairs in China;
- assistance in organization of advertising campaign of Russian goods and services in China;
- legal support of external economic activity;
- transportation and custom broker services;
- goods quality examination while exporting;
- assistance in organization of business and tourist trips to China (accommodation, transfers, car rent, guide services, visa support, air tickets booking in China, visiting exhibitions in China);
- assistance in establishing and running business in China.
